A very poignant piece on former NFL player Terrell Owens. He really opens up about his struggles and getting hired on any NFL team after being let go by the Philadelphia Eagles. For those who have followed his football career, he's had some tough times with owners, coaches and players on teams. It looks like no NFL team wants to touch him with a 10 foot pole, as the saying goes. He is staying in excellent shape and looks fit to go when a NFL team calls. For now, his financial situation is pretty dire. With the millions earned over the years, T.O. has four kids to support and is trying to work out keeping up those payments. I'm no certified financial planner, but can say this ->it doesn't matter how fat those paychecks may be, a savings account to fall back on is nothing short of a lifeline. Don't neglect that "rainy day fund" it will help save you when the bank account runs dry.
