As I rise each day taking a deep breath of all God's glory, I know he is watching over me. The path at the fork in the road has me wondering will I go left or right on to something new. Which will I choose? One thing I do know, Prayer is Powerful.

I watched a few rounds of this tournament today and Tiger Woods looked really good. He made some great long-range shots and putts. Yep, I know a little bit about golf. Go Tiger!

Happy Spring Weekend

 

Hi, it's the first weekend in spring, what are you doing today? I am heading out this afternoon to a birthday party for my friend's grandson who is turning 2 years old. The party theme is the "bumble bee" and can't wait to see the cake. They have a person who can bake cakes in any shape and last year's cake had a monkey theme. It's a pretty day for a party!

One more thing, Dairy Queen has been showing commercials of their popular frozen treat, the Blizzard. It's a super saver deal for the month of March only. When you buy one Blizzard at regular price get another one for $.99 cents. There are many choices in toppings for the Blizzard like cookie pieces and more. You deserve to treat yourself every now and then. Plus, someone else can get treated too at a rock bottom price. Yum!

I don't know what's got into me...I have played a lot of music this week. I won't ponder the reason why;-) As midnight nears, super cool Coldplay featuring Jay-Z is a perfect pick heading into the weekend. As the camera pans out showing the audience, the concert is jam-packed with cheering fans. Awesome!

Simply Short & Sweet

TGIF, what's been happening with you today? For me, it's been a day for catching up on a few back burner items like mail including the junk ones too. I spent time organizing my email inbox and reading some over again that got a quick scan earlier in the week.

The weather was pretty good with humidity up, but the pesky pollen down after some overnight rain. Have I told you how wonderful my day is knowing you stop by and read my posts? Oh, I did. Never can say 'thank you' enough, right. Simply short & sweet!

Hello, I'm sure most of you have heard the coroner's preliminary report on the probable cause of how Whitney Houston died. This story does ask an interesting question on how it was possible that the singer drowned. She was taking a bath and could have slipped down into the tub of water. I should not speculate. The report did mention that heart disease and cocaine use as causes in her death as well. The final report is due out in a couple of weeks. While some people may still question it all, the preliminary report brings us some closure. Her music will always hold a special place in the hearts of her adoring fans. May she rest in peace!
