TGIF ~ A Mind of It's Own

It's after lunch on Friday and I won't even ask myself where the morning went. It's cool though and there are times when TGIF just takes on a mind of it's own;-) I am enjoying a good cup of tea and the sun is out. I wasn't sure if it was going to make it.

I hope your to-do list is short and sweet. I forgot to mention that the Dave Matthews Band has a new album out this week called "Away From the World." The 11-track album is good ~check it out on AOL Music. There are plenty of other new releases this week so have a good listen to some others.

Let me mention that my brother is taking classes at a community college in Orlando, FL. He just started this fall and seems excited to be back on campus. He's very tech-savvy and I hope he doesn't mind me writing that he's in-between jobs right now. Although he had a temp help desk position that lasted for quite awhile. I tell you what, the job market is still tough. He's on the right track and is moving forward in a positive way.

Have a good TGIF and weekend coming up!

Miguel's Hip Track

Oh Happy Day and that's just what I hope you are having. I had some articles to write and just finished one. I took a few minutes to dash over my favorite music site Singersroom to check out the music and news. You can bet there was plenty going on like this hip track by Miguel featuring Wiz Khalifa called "Adorn" which is a new single Remix. I dig it!

Music, Sports, Subs & Blog Readers

The week was busy and I missed getting the chance to listen to the new album by Matchbox Twenty. The title of the new album is North. I'm listening to it on AOL Music where listeners can hear full albums for free. The lead singer of the band, Rob Thomas is my favorite and he's had a successful solo music career. This new album is the best ~listen to it!

Sandwich
With college back in session, the afternoon football games fill the TV channels especially on Saturday. It's a great day to cheer on your favorite teams. Don't forget to order up foot long sub sandwiches and a bag of chips.

Thanks to my blog readers for stopping by this week and anytime really. It's a joy to see where the viewers come from like the U.S., Russia, Philippines, United Kingdom, India, and South Korea to name a few. It's fascinating and energizes me to post good content.

The Neptunes produces Robin Thicke Track

I like this new track by Robin Thicke titled Another Life. Plus, the song is produced by the hottest duo "The Neptunes." It's upbeat which fits well with the other track that is getting lots of radio play here in the ATL and all across the country, "Love After War."

I always have to give the folks over at Singersroom a shout out of thanks for allowing bloggers like me to share the music. Head over to the Singersroom website to hear lots of other artists and to catch up on the latest news in entertainment.

Tuesday's to-do needs a boost

Hello everybody, how is the day going so far? It's almost noon and glances at the to-do list let's me know there needs to be more check marks on it:-) There was a light fog that covered the morning skies, but have since faded away. The afternoon looks to hold the key to unlocking sunshine.

If your to-do list needs a boost like mine today, skip the second cup of coffee and crank up the laptop with Adam Lambert's new album. I always check over on AOL Music for the latest releases where listeners can play the full CDs. Lambert's new album is titled "Trespassing" and it's jamming. He was an American Idol contestant some time ago, but did not win. Not to worry, his music career has taken off and this new album proves it.

On the pad I keep near my workstation, I noticed a quote that was jotted down, but no name of who quoted it. I like it and wanted to share it anyway ->"Be weird, Be Random. Be who you are. Because you never know who would love the person you hide." (^_^)

Listen to the new song by Swedish duo jj called Beautiful Life. It's off the hip music website HYPETRAK.  I like it and the smooth sound sure matches this beautiful day. Grab the sunglasses, you will need them once the sunshine I sent arrives in the skies. Hold on, it's coming!

WOW, this is a super song by Toni Braxton with a hip upbeat tempo. The title of the song is "I Heart You." I know it's only Wednesday, but this jam will have you wanting to hit the dance floor long before the weekend. The Ting Tings

Good evening and just getting around to a second post. It's been a busy day! I often wondered why new albums come out on Tuesday's, anybody know? I always check around various music sites to see what's new and get the opportunity to listen to a full album for free. We love freebies right! So much has changed in the way we listen to music these days. Now we can simply buy one or more songs off an album instead of the whole thing.

EmoticonI've been listening to the new album by The Ting Tings called "Sounds from Nowheresville." I dig that title and the album is great. I discovered this duo awhile ago and their name is what caught my eye. It's so cool. MSN has a Listening Booth of full albums that are updated on Tuesday's. The Ting Tings new album is on this week's playlist. Check it out!
