Terrific Tuesday Tidbit

Hello, got a Terrific Tuesday Tidbit with a healthy spin on it. With the arrival of spring last month, the cold & flu season may be over. Although allergies have taken it's place which sometimes makes people think they have a cold.

Keep the healthy doses of eats plentiful with fruits for vitamin C and fiber by eating oranges, apples or pears. Plus, tomatoes with the good 'ol antioxidants and romaine or green leaf lettuce for salads and sandwiches. Up the ante on all things healthy and include plenty of walking in your daily life. Simply parking your car a little ways from the storefront is a quick way to sneak in exercise anytime. Here's to a healthier you!

LET'S SEE ->Will Adele sing the next James Bond theme? via MSN
WOW, I bet this would be a terrific theme given Adele's voice and writing talent. The read states she's not confirming, but James Bond fans probably like the possibility. One of my favorite James Bond themes was Tina Turner for the movie Golden Eye ~Check it out!

Monday Motivation

Hello everybody, hope the weekend was wonderful. If any of us needed Monday Motivation, this just might be the day. It's National Peanut Butter and Jelly Day! I just went to the grocery store to buy a new jar of peanut butter so this day is right on time.

Take one for lunch and enjoy outside in the sunshine this week. Get away for an hour from the desk and join co-workers for chat unrelated to work, of course. It's spring break for schools in Georgia this week so having enough peanut butter and jelly will come in handy for a quick sandwich that the kids can make themselves.

Here's an idea ->Before pressing the two breads together, add a topping like slices of banana, sprinkles of raisins, piece of cheese or turkey. The PB&J is a classic favorite enjoyed anytime of the day!

Remembering Marvin Gaye

Motown legend Marvin Gaye met an untimely death on April 1, 1984 after being shot and killed by his father. He was 44 years old. The singer died the day before his birthday which is April 2. A true tragedy for the family and fans.

Marvin Gaye had many smash hits including favorite "I Heard It Through the Grapevine." Plus, What's Going On, Let's Get It On, and Aint that Peculiar. The singer performed duet singles with Mary Wells and Tammi Terrell.

The singer battled depression and a troubled marriage that took a toll on his music career and finances. Marvin Gaye made a comeback in 1982 with his Grammy-Award winning hit "Sexual Healing" and started touring again, but the long absence showed.

Marvin Gaye was posthumously inducted into the Rock and Roll Music Hall of Fame in 1987.
