Kindergartners & the iPad

My first thought was iPads to kindergartners, no way. But the hope is to improve their reading scores at this school district among other uses for them. Also, the school administration plans to monitor how much time  is spent using the iPads within the school day. It will be interesting to learn of their effectiveness.
