Remembering Nick Ashford who passed away yesterday after a long battle with throat cancer. He was part of the songwriting-duo with his wife Valerie Simpson. Together they wrote many Motown hits for Marvin Gaye and Diana Ross to name a few. They had success with their own songs like the 80's hit Solid.
