Save Your Change

As your college-bound son or daughter prepares to head to college, start saving your spare change to give them for laundry and occasional stops at the vending machines. They will surely be in need of quarters for the on-campus laundry room or for use at the local laundromat. Unless they are close enough to drive home every weekend to do their laundry (make that Mom do their laundry), the change will come in handy. I bet they will be very surprised and appreciative when you hand them the bag of coins.
