Why men are out-shopping women online

THIS IS TRENDY ->Why men are out-shopping women online – USATODAY.com
Really :) I can see this trend especially with the ease of browsing and shopping online. Simply add the item to the cart and head to the checkout line. In this case, it's just a click away on the laptop and from the comforts of home. We all know the old adage is that men don't like to shop and malls are definitely not a favorite. OK, ladies we need to step up our game, maybe just a little;-)

Stay warm while out & about running errands and holiday shopping by taking along a thermos of hot chocolate. When you return to the car, sip on the hot chocolate to warm up. You will feel toasty when you arrive at the next stop. Have a wonderful weekend!

Cyber Monday

It's a rainy day in Georgia and perfect to stay inside and click around the web for Cyber Monday deals. I read that retailers did a brisk business over the Thanksgiving holidays. I remember a former co-worker who did all their shopping online and never stepped inside a store for gift buying. It's interesting on the shopping habits of people who avoid the stores all together while others enjoy the hustle and bustle. I know there will be lots of mouse clicking heard around the office today as workers shop online at their desk. Keep in mind that you are at work so don't let work assignments pile up by getting caught up shopping on the internet. If possible, use your lunch hour or 15-minute break to check some fave sites.

Happy Black Friday

I hope Thanksgiving was wonderful and maybe you still have out-of-town guests until Sunday. There are probably lots of leftovers and that's what I look forward to enjoying. A turkey sandwich is on my lunch menu.

So how many of my readers got an early start on Black Friday shopping? If so, did you snag the deals that got you out and about in the wee hours of the morning? I was disappointed in one story about a customer using pepper spray on others in the store. I know we want to get the item, but must we be so mean & vicious in the process. Aside from that incident, it appears many shoppers were pleased with their shopping experience.

Well, I did get up early this morning, but not to shop. Are you ready for this...I started my new part-time job today reporting for work at 6AM. I work in retail as a Sales Associate and the day could not have been more exciting. I was happy to finally set the clock radio alarm for work :-) My career is on a new path and I'm ready for wherever it takes me. May the journey be sunny & bright!

First Lady Shops!

This story has been all the buzz in the last few days, but thought I'd share it anyway. I like the coverage the Today show gave to it. The First Lady has mentioned that Target is one of her favorite stores, but it was surprising to see her actually shopping there by herself. Well, she did have an assistant and the Secret Service along with her. I guess the incognito look with the sunglasses being worn inside the store didn't raise any eyebrows as she shopped the store. Cool!

The Missoni Collection for Target

The Missoni Collection for Target Resources: architecturaldigest.com

I heard that there has been a run on the Missoni Collection at the Target stores. Check out the slideshow of some of the items available for purchase. I like them all and would love to update my master and guest bathrooms with the colorful pieces in the photo.
