Hip Collaboration at Daryl Hall's House

A hip collaboration with Daryl Hall and Cee Lo Green. You may know that Daryl Hall records some of the Hall and Oates jams with other singers at his house. This is a good one!

Music Monday ~ Simple Minds

Simple Minds had some smash hits in the 80's like this one Alive & Kicking. The other fan favorite "Don't You Forget about Me" is another great song by the band.  I think this is a super spin for Music Monday.

Friday the 13th

It's Friday the 13th ~chime in the scary music from the classic 80's movie that had audiences spooked. Also, going to summer camp was probably an interesting time for those attending and camp counselors.

Hamburger And Fries

Not to be outdone on the 13th, but its National French Fries Day. Check out some great places that have the best french fries with this feature on MSN. You have to admit that french fries are good and they don't have to be avoided at every restaurant turn when eaten in moderation. Avoid the "super size" by ordering a small size at the fast food places.

So what's on tap for your Friday the 13th? Just another day huh, Yep! The week has been good and I'm looking forward to the weekend. I think the last few days of rain has moved on, but it sure was nice to get downpours. Have a good TGIF!

TGIF is Blasting!

Jam from the 80's on TGIF! This song was blasting on car radios and at parties, we couldn't get enough of hearing it. The song has a hip beat breakdown and the DJ knew just the spot to blast the volume. Anyone familiar with this song already will know what I'm talking about. Listen for it & enjoy!

I Love the 80s!

I remember being so excited about this all-girl band back in the 80s. I thought it was so cool to see them playing the drums and guitars. I was in college studying hard, working a part-time job, and finding a little bit of time to spend with friends. Those were great times, the beat goes on!
