New November

So here we are beginning the new month of November and it's a day of one's 11/1/11 which is pretty cool. I started the morning getting my bills paid and organizing my budget. I like to encourage everyone to scan their budget from the previous month to check to see if you went over the budgeted goal or found that you saved more. Of course, the latter is preferred. The holidays are fast approaching and with November here, there is no time like now to set some money aside. I've watched commercials lately for K-Mart and Walmart offering layaway this holiday season. I have never used layaway, but it might be a good idea to get the gifts on your list without having to pay for them all up front. Give it a try!
