The first tree broke when it was being lifted to the top of Macy's at Lenox Square in Atlanta last week. The officials said the drought in Georgia may have been the reason the tree cracked. It looks like this tree is OK. The lighting of the tree is a Thanksgiving day delight out at Lenox Square. It's televised on a local station, but plenty of people come out to watch the lighting. It's a fun night of music, joy and excitement when the tree lights up. As the saying goes, the second time around is a charm!
