McDonald's Coffee & Catch Up

Good Sunday and I'm making my way to watering the houseplants. It takes half the day and I could use some good McDonald's coffee right about now. The forecast is calling for some rain today. You know I like those Private Quarters featured in our local newspaper. Here's another one and I especially like the kitchen,  closet, and the patio with greenery getting some sun. There are pops of color around the home.


A spaghetti dinner sure sounds delicious and easy to prepare, that's an idea. for dinner. A little catch up of junk mail both the paper kind and some that has landed in my spam folder. It's a good day to organize them both. Have a nice day!

Rain is Welcome Relief

It's a great day with some rain which I hope comes down all day long. A welcome relief from the drought which as you know is wreaking havoc on farmlands to yards. My flowers will love a good drench. I can't believe it's the last day in the month of July and the summer is moving along nicely.

The funeral for my dear friend is today. I am sure many of his family and friends will be in attendance and a heartfelt eulogy will be given. I will cherish the memories and his kindness to me always as he is laid to rest.

Gardening Tip of the Day

On a rainy day, capture some of that rain in a few buckets or container. The water will come in handy if days go by without any rain for watering the flowers and  veggie garden. Also, it helps save dollars on the water bill. Happy gardening!
