Sunday dinner, jazz and movies

It's July 1st and the Fourth of July holiday is coming up next week. I don't know about you, but these months are going by so fast. So what's on tap for your Sunday? With the heat, just wondered if most folks picked up a delicious rotisserie chicken from the store for Sunday dinner. It's a great idea and gives us all more time out of the kitchen.

While working on this post, I have been listening to music featured on NPR's Blog Supreme called "Five Jazz Groups From Montreal." Have a listen to five distinctive jazz sounds.

Over on Classic Cinema Online, there are 7 movies in the cue that are now playing like Walt Disney's Treasure Island. A classic movie on a Sunday  would really round out the weekend. I bet the kids would love to watch all the swashbuckling adventure.

Dave Koz’s Tour

‘Musical comfort food’ on Koz’s tour | accessAtlanta
He performs in Atlanta on Saturday and I just know it will be a nice show. His recently released CD "Ultimate Christmas" will make a wonderful holiday gift or stocking stuffer for that jazz lover on your list.
