Gentleman's Quarters: An Apartment Tour

SEE SLIDESHOW HERE ->Gentleman's Quarters: Michael Chernow and Donna Hemmingsen Chernow of the Meatball Shop Give an Apartment Tour GQ.com

This is a great slideshow of the couples apartment in Brooklyn. It's very eclectic and the space is open allowing lots of natural light to come inside. There is definitely enough room for their dog which is a Mastiff to maneuver around the apartment.

The outdoor space is fabulous and great for entertaining. I like everything about this place!

Tiny Apartment, You Think?

This soon-to-be married couple is making the most of their 240-square-foot apartment. I was a bit surprised at the rent which is $1,200, but remembered they do live in New York City where rents are high no matter how small the space.

Simple Living

Talk about simple living! This article sure sounds like that's where New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg is looking at developing 300-400 square feet apartments. I think it's a neat idea especially for singles.

Of course, this article leads me into simpler living by getting rid of items we no longer use or fit our lifestyle. If your son or daughter is moving into their first apartment, they could definitely use furnishings. This is a good way to live more clutter-free by heading to the basement or attic where unused items are usually stored.
