Today's Recycle Tip

If you have lots of plastic bags from your shopping, make plans on your next trip to return some of them back to the store. I know many grocery and other stores have recycle bins inside the entryways to encourage shoppers to bring these plastic bags back for recycling. I like this idea to help reduce, reuse, and recycle!

  1. Wow Cynthia you couldn't have stated it a better way..Recently my environmental teacher explained to us how plastic was first invented to reduce our environment footprint..guess it ended up doing the opposite for our society. Plastic is not harmful, it is the way we use it that is harmful. Exhibit A, using plastic bags at the supermarket.

  2. Hi Mel! I usually will avoid getting a plastic bag if I'm just leaving out with one item as long as I get the receipt. Now some stores have their own eco-friendly bags for shoppers to use instead. I've been stopping by your blog a lot to see all the lovely jewelry :-)
