After BBQ on the 4th this week, it's
National Fried Chicken Day. A perfect day since Friday's are a big day family and folks like to order take out or go out to eat. It is definitely too hot to fry up any chicken in the kitchen so I bet Kentucky Fried Chicken does a booming business. Plus, two other popular places like Church's or Popeye's are popular chicken joints.
One of my late aunts used to fry chicken backs on Friday nights and we would head over there to eat. It was a fun night as uncles and cousins popped in at different times to enjoy some good eating. My aunt sure had a knack for frying those chicken backs and she kept the plate full ~Yummy memory!
