Newbies ->Month, Day & Week

Welcome to all things new. It feels like we're in the final stretch of the summer months when August rolls around. I have two birthday's this month, my mom and brother. It's going to be a very hot week in Atlanta and surely where you live too. There are several districts that started school today and I hope the kiddies take it easy at recess play in this heat. Are there any new projects that may have taken a back seat last month that might get going in August? I plan to continue work on my blog and explore new topics. I truly enjoy the blogs that I follow and will share new ones that I discover along the way. My blog list rocks so check it from time to time as I like to feature blogs there. First Year Anniversary ->My Blog

I can't believe my blog is celebrating it's first year anniversary today. It was on this date that I finally pressed 'publish post' and it's been full steam ahead. Congratulations!

Let me start out by saying this blog has been the most exciting writing experience. I began with one follower, my brother. You have to love your family for their support and encouragement. I now have 15 followers on my blog and I appreciate all of you especially your comments to my posts. The main themes around my blog have been budgeting, organizing, and healthy topics. Along the way, I started to post interesting stories from around the internet, photo galleries, music, food, and many other topics that I found to be good reads. I hope you have enjoyed them as well.

I have met so many other bloggers on this first year journey and their friendships have been very nice. I look forward to continuing to write and post content that my readers will find informative, useful, and most of all fun. My blog audience spans many countries not only in the United States, but Denmark, UK, Australia, Canada, Sweden, Germany, Slovenia, and Italy to name a few.

Welcome to My Blog

I am very excited about starting my blog. I finally hit the Publish Post icon after some hesitation, but decided to stop waiting for that so-called right moment. When is that really?

Simply Positive reflects how I live my daily life. I have experienced some tribulations along the way, but really believe in the power of positive thinking to help move life along. I am moving forward with ideas for my life in the new year. I have embraced social media and joined Facebook last spring. My mom and brother were already on the site, and I find that I am posting updates and information daily. I have met old and new friends since joining. My brother, who is very tech-savvy, encouraged me to join Twitter, which I did last summer. Check out his great blog. I have enjoyed the wide-variety of information that people share and find it useful and fun!

I plan to blog about a variety of topics especially budgeting, organizing, and healthy living. I hope you will follow along with me and comment on my posts. Stay tuned!
