Autumn Monday

Good Autumn Monday and nice to start the week in the new season. I enjoyed a nice weekend and spent yesterday with friends who decided to throw some burgers on the grill. She had the freshest veggies to top off the burgers and still had a few garden tomatoes left along with sweet vidalia onions. We could not have asked for better weather to be outside. Now it's time to look ahead to projects and new ideas this week. After attending the online International Freelancers Day last Friday, I came away with some good tips to build upon and energized to move forward in the world of freelancing. The laptop is fired up, me too!

Welcome to Fall

Happy Friday everyone and what better day to welcome in the fall season. While the Atlanta temps still feel summery, the mornings are cool enough to put the fall mood in the air. I have written a few blog posts on the season already, but now it's official. I am excited about a free online conference for freelancers today that I will be attending. There are various sessions all day and I look forward to the presentations and learning more about this solo profession. With the tough job market, freelancing has taken off even more as people have started their own businesses. A good pot of coffee, eats & day of learning will make this a wonderful welcome to fall!
