Tip of the Day

Afternoon hello and I know what you're thinking...a tip on Sunday, get a grip woman;-) But wait, this is a good one.

SmileyHere it is ->Take a few minutes to clean & wipe off the desktop computer and/or laptop. The crumbs and sticky fingers can build up on the keyboard and mouse. The adorable house pets and their shredding hair can land on the computer too. Use a soft cloth to wipe off the screen and alcohol swab to lightly sanitize the keyboard and mouse. The dust spray in the can specifically for computers is a terrific way to clean in the crevices on the laptop to blow out crumbs and dust. You might be surprised at what flies out as we are all guilty of eating and snacking while on our computers. Enjoy the extra daylight!

Time Change Tidbits

Here are a few quick tidbits to share along with the time change:

--->Now that we've gotten an extra hour of sleep from the time change, set the alarm clock an extra 15 minutes earlier for more morning exercise and time to prepare the brown bag lunches.
--->Be safe when out & about in the evening by parking the car near lighted areas. Plus, have the car keys  in your hand when walking towards the car so you don't have to dig in your purse to find them.
--->Make sure you are wearing clothing and walking shoes that reflect in the dark when out walking the dog. It's a good idea to get your pet a leash with reflectors too. Check Petsmart or any retailers pet section.

While online shopping has gained popularity, it won't be long before stores stay open late for the holiday shoppers to snag bargains. Stay Safe!

Weekend of Sunshine

There will be plenty of sunshine this weekend in Atlanta. I started the day off by opening the window blinds to let lots of sun inside. After several days of chilly weather, it's nice to have the spring temperatures back. I placed my ferns back outside to let them soak up all this sunshine too. I'm so excited that my petunia plant has pink blooms on it, very pretty.

This weekend, don't forget to set your clocks forward at 2AM for daylight savings time. It's going to be nice tomorrow evening to have the extra daylight for walking exercise and not feel so rushed to beat the darkness. I'm sure you agree :-) One of my buddies is having a garage sale today. I should have been there at the start, but I'm sure there will be some frugal finds left to scour over.

The winter weather may be hanging around in your area, but don't let that damper getting outside anyway for weekend fun. Go out and soak up the sun!
