Tiny Apartment, You Think?

This soon-to-be married couple is making the most of their 240-square-foot apartment. I was a bit surprised at the rent which is $1,200, but remembered they do live in New York City where rents are high no matter how small the space.

Talk about simple living! This article sure sounds like that's where New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg is looking at developing 300-400 square feet apartments. I think it's a neat idea especially for singles.

Of course, this article leads me into simpler living by getting rid of items we no longer use or fit our lifestyle. If your son or daughter is moving into their first apartment, they could definitely use furnishings. This is a good way to live more clutter-free by heading to the basement or attic where unused items are usually stored.
