Wow, this is wonderful news. The singer's untimely death in a plane crash in 2001 left an unfinished hole in her music. She had a hip style from her hair, clothes and dance moves. Aaliyah's music videos are still very popular. There is a demo clip in this story which features a photo gallery of Aaliyah. She was truly a talented singer and beauty!

Remembering Aaliyah

As the MLK holiday wraps up, I remembered today is the late R&B singer Aaliyah's birthday. She was killed in a plane crash in August 2001 along with members of her group & dance team. They were in the Bahamas filming music videos. A tragic loss for her family, friends, and adoring fans. This song earned Aaliyah a Grammy nomination for Best Female R&B Vocalist. RIP!
