Mardi Gras

 

Hey, it's Mardi Gras! The costumes, floats, masks, beads and food are all the rave. Can you imagine the fun time in New Orleans especially down on Bourbon Street? I have never been to Mardi Gras and should definitely put it on my 'bucket list'. I remember asking someone what the significance of all those beads around everyone's neck and was "schooled" on just what they mean:-)

Have any readers been to Mardi Gras in New Orleans? Or, how about Rio De Janiero for their Carnival festivities. I have seen photos of that celebration and it's just as colorful and the costumes are skimpy. Let me add Rio to that bucket list too!
